The FBCI Advisory Council is an interfaith advisory group representing community and faith-based organizations across the Commonwealth. Their responsibilities include:

• Providing recommendations on the technical assistance and capacity building needs of community and faith-based groups
• Promoting partnerships between public agencies and grass roots organizations to meet social needs at the state and local level
• Advancing outreach strategies to the non-profit and faith-based community on programs and services to support families and strengthen Virginia communities
