Consultation was given on subsidy changes that were implemented in December 2018. Please refer to the 10/2018 memo found under notices on the VA DSS website-Child Day Center.

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 4/4/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A review of care of children, physical space, medications and allergy management, programming and emergency preparation. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. If you have any questions regarding the inspection, please feel free to contact me.
