A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 05/17/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 37 children, ages 5 years-11 years, and 6 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and the on-site requirements for 6 staff records. The staff stated that there is no medication on site. The children were observed in the following activities: large motor play in the gym, having afternoon snack, participating in an art project and in free choice activities; a group of children were observed departing for a fieldtrip. The inspector reviewed the emergency preparedness plans and the emergency supplies during the inspection. The inspector discussed behavior management, supervision and sanitizing with the staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.
