Consultation was provided with the PD regarding the Subsidy changes that went into effective 10/17/18. If you have additional questions, please call this Inspector.

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on May 22, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety regulations. There were 75 children present, the children were observed in 7 classrooms. Varied activities were observed which included: free play, infant care (bottle-feedings), hand washing procedures, outdoor play and lunch. Medications were observed in the center. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. A violation was found during the supplemental inspection and is identified on the violation notice. The inspection was conducted from 11:10AM to 3:30PM. Description: Based on staff interview and reviewed documentation kept by the center, the center failed to practice lockdown procedures at least annually.

Plan of Correction: The PD will schedule an annual lockdown drill in the center . Documentation will be maintained.
