Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 3:30 pm through 5:30 pm. Today, I met with the Staff of the Office for Children (OFC) School-Age Child Care (SACC) program held on site at White Oaks Elementary located in Burke, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 44 children observed with 3 staff; good ratio for both groups. A total of 5 children?s files were reviewed. Staff files were reviewed on an earlier date. The children were engaged in the following: Check-in, announcements, hand washing, bathroom breaks, snack, homework, reading, large motor skills outside on playground, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail to charles.perkins@dss.virginia.gov. Thank you.

Charlie Perkins,
Licensing Inspector
