Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/15/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 24 children, ages 4 years-11 years, and 4 staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and the on-site staff record requirements for 4 staff members during the inspection. The staff stated that medication is not administered at this time. Children were observed in the following activities: during homework time, in free choice activities and during large motor play outside. The inspector reviewed the emergency supplies during the inspection. The inspector discussed the following with the staff: children's belongings, sharing space with the school, emergency preparedness and approvals from other agencies. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 3:45 p.m. and departed at 6:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Forestier at 540-309-2835.
