An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today.
Fifteen children were present in the part-day class with two staff.
Eleven children were present in the 5-day class with two staff.
The children were working in centers, singing in group time and eating lunch.
Medication and files for five children were reviewed.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-430-C
Description: Based on a tour of the playground the facility failed to ensure that playground equipment openings above the ground or floor which allow a 3 1/2 inch by 6 1/4 inch rectangle to fit through shall also allow a nine inch circle to fit through.
Evidence:
1. The new wooden pickets on the climber allow a 3 1/2 inch by 6 1/4 inch rectangle to fit through but do not allow a nine inch circle to pass through.
