A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on November 12, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 3:00 p.m. through 5:10 p.m. There were forty-seven children in the care of five staff. No medication is being administered at the present. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
Areas observed were: arrival, educational activities, free choice, transition, hand washing/bathroom procedures, snack and departure. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seemed comfortable with their daily routine and schedule.
