A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/25/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-780-A-3 Description: Based on documentation review, lock-down procedures were not practiced at least annually.
Evidence:
1) On the date of inspection, the emergency drills log available for review did not contain a lock-down drill documented for the period of 09/20/2017 to 11/20/2019.Plan of Correction: Lockdown procedures will be reviewed with teachers. Lockdown will be completed and logged for the month of November.
