Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on (insert date) to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted on July 18, 2019 from 10:30. a.m. through 1:00 p.m. There were twenty-four children in the care of six staff. Five children's records were reviewed. Staff records were reviewed on July 8, 2019 at the YMCA's office. The medication and medication paper work was reviewed for three children. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Areas observed were: free choice, indoor games, hand washing/bathroom procedures, craft activity, transition, and lunch. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seem comfortable with their daily routine and schedule. Please contact me at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
