An unannounced subsidy inspection was completed today, 7/29/19. All areas of the subsidy requirements was reviewed for compliance. A violation notice was completed regarding the one violation that was cited. There are 45 children in care ranging in age from seven months to five years with eight staff and two cooks present. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your inspector. Inspection began: 12:30 pm and ended 2:40 pm.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-740-B-3-c Description: Based on observation the vendor did not ensure that all diapering surfaces are nonabsorbent. Evidence: 1. The changing pad in the infant room has a tear causing the surface to be absorbent. Plan of Correction: The vendor will replace the pad with a new one and will ensure that all pads are non absorbent.
