Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspections was conducted today form 11:00am until 12:45pm. There were 7 children present (16 points) with 3 caregivers present. Children's records, staff records, household members records, menu's, emergency plans and emergency supplies were inspected. The children were observed during circle time, preparing for lunch, hand washing and eating lunch. Lunch consisted of Macaroni and Cheese, lentil soup, cauliflower, fruit and milk. There were no medications on site today. Areas of non compliance are listed on the Violation Notice. Description: Based on log review, the family day home failed to ensure that shelter in place procedures will be practiced at least two times per year. Evidence: The provider has no documentation of shelter in place practice drills.

Plan of Correction: I will start performing the shelter in place drills.
