A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 11:30am to 12:55pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 4 children were present ranging in ages 7 months through 5 years (10 points) with the provider. The children were engaged in the following: playing games, completing a Halloween drawing, and preparing for lunch. Lunch served today is chicken nuggets, apple sauce, green beans, whole wheat bread, and milk. Programming, menus, emergency procedures and supples, and 4 children's records and the provider's records were reviewed. The provider advised no medications are on site. The provider is current in CPR/First Aid certification.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
