The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on 01/30/2020 from 9:40am to 12:25pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed learning through play in centers, participating in story time and circle time. A formal observation was completed with the Twos and Threes classrooms. Interviews were held with staff throughout the inspection, and the inspector interacted with children in each classroom when appropriate. All classrooms and playgrounds were inspected today.
Eight children?s records and five employee records were reviewed during this inspection. Medication is not being administered. The center?s injury prevention plan was updated 06/2019.
The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
