Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, January 29, 2020. The on-site inspection was conducted from 2:40 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. On this date, at the time of arrival, there were five children in the aftercare program. Within a few minutes seven more children arrived for a total of 12 children present and in the care of two staff members. There were a total of 56 children enrolled in the primary and after-care programs. The violation from the previous inspection had been corrected. Five staff members' records and five children's records were reviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for two children. Three staff and four children were interviewed. The aftercare program was observed. There were no violations of the licensing standards. Some items observed and reviewed during the visit included warm water temperature, required posted information, documentation of emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, first aid kit and emergency supplies, injury reports, current health and fire inspections, arrival and dismissal procedures in the aftercare program, table games, art work, outdoor play, free plan, afternoon snack, and hand washing and bathroom procedures.
