The fire inspection requirement was reviewed and discussed.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on October 14,2020 and concluded on October 16, 2020. The coordinator was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 41 children present and 6 staff. The inspector emailed the coordinator a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review and staff interviews the licnesee did not ensure that each center shall maintain and keep at the center a separate record for each child enrolled which shall contain all the required information.
Evidence: The followings children's records were missing missing information as listed below;
1) Child #2 did not have a second emergency contact listed, there was not a name, address or phone number listed.
2) Child #3 did not have the employment location for one parent listed and the employment phone number for the other parent listed.Plan of Correction: The center director will make sure in the future, will verify parent address is available if parent is listed on document.
Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2 Description: Based on record review and staff interviews the licnesee did not ensure that each center had obtained a central registry finding (CPS) within 30 days of employment or volunteer service.
Evidence: The record for staff f#2 did not include a CPS finding and date of employment was 8-25-2020.Plan of Correction: The center director will make sure within 5 days of hiring will follow up with phone call if do receive within 21 days.
