An unannounced Code compliance inspection was conducted today, 3/2/2020. Upon arrival to the center each class was participating in preschool activities. Lunch and nap was also observed.
A review of staff and children's records was conducted.
There are 45 children present ranging in age from four months to five years with seven classroom staff, one cook and a director.

Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-2 Description: Based on review of staff record the center failed to obtain fingerprint background checks on all staff prior to the first day of employment.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1 does not have fingerprint background check on file. Hire date is 2/4/2020.Plan of Correction: Staff # 1 has undergone fingerprint background checks through the local school department.
The director will ensure that all staff have a fingerprint background through the daycare prior to the first day of employment.
