Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. The physical plant, 4 children's records, 5 caregiver/household member records, the care of children, children's nutrition, caregiver training, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 1:20-2:20 pm. The provider and one assistant were observed caring for 4 children, totaling 8 points. Today, the children played outside, participated in circle time, listened to story time, enjoyed free play (making pretend ice cream for the caregivers) danced to music, ate lunch and rested during nap time. Today, the children were served spaghetti with meat, tomato sauce and cheese, bananas and milk for lunch. The Provider is trained in MAT (medication administration training). However, there are no children with any medication needs at this time. Should you have any questions regarding this inspection please email me at mary.wizbicki@dss.virginia.gov
