Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today between 8:30 am and 11:00 am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 6 children (14 points) The children were observed hand-washing , playing with play-dough reading stories and working on art projects.
The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
