A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today, there were eleven to twelve children in care, ages infancy through eight years (22 to 24 points), with two caregivers. I determined compliance with requirements for operational responsibilities, record keeping, children's information, three caregiver/resident records, caregiver training, five records for children, behavior management, reports, hazardous substances, bathroom use, allergies, nutrition, emergency planning, and hand washing. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
