Bio:	Senior level executive with experience in government Health and Human Services and Health Care program operations. Experience includes working with legislative bodies and senior level executives in the public and private sectors as an elected and appointed official with a successful history in reducing costs and improving performance. Responsibilities include program and project management, financial operations, financial reporting and business process reengineering. Current position with Amerigroup Corporation responsible for coordination of operations for the States of Washington and Kansas and is a certified Project Manager Professional and Six Sigma Green Belt. Previous experience includes managing the financial operations for the California Healthy Families program and working with Health and Human Service agencies in four additional states. A resident of Virginia Beach with his wife Barbara with service on several boards in the tidewater area including the Boy Scouts of America, FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association and the Community Organization of Grants for the City of Virginia Beach.
