In 2010, Governor Bob McDonnell announced the establishment of a statewide technology health reform initiative that would play a critical role in how state agencies could transform their human services delivery systems.
Virginia's eHHR (electronic Health & Human Resources) is the innovation behind the transformation the Commonwealth's transition to online, self-service access to many of the state's health and social services benefit programs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Through CommonHelp, Virginians now have online access to:
- Screen for Potential Eligibility
- Apply for Benefits
- Check the Status of Applications
- Report Changes
- Complete Benefit Renewals
eHHR will expand CommonHelp into a virtual human services one-stop shop for assistance, benefitting the state, its employees and the citizens we serve.
