Reminder: 2 shelter in place drills must be conducted annually.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between approximately 11:45am and 1:15pm. 33 children were directly supervised by 10 staff members. Ratios were in compliance. 3 staff records, 4 children's records, the physical space, daily reports, evacuation drills, attendance, cots/cribs and required documents were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed preparing for lunch and rest time. Infants were observed engaging with staff members in a positive manner. The space was clean and organized. An abundant supply of developmentally appropriate activities and materials were available. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Ntoice. Based on interview and record review, the center does not have a central registry finding within 30 days of employment for 1 out of 3 employee records reviewed.
Evidence: Staff #1 started 3/18/2019. The center has a copy of the Central registry and money order that was sent on 3/18/2019, however, no results were on file. The center did not follow up with the agency after 30 days and could not locate the results.
Plan of Correction:
We will contact the agency to find the results or submit a new document, if needed.
