| Governor Kaine bestows prestigious STAR award |
Governor Timothy M. Kaine, today honored Diane Asbury, the social services District Manager of the Lynchburg District Office of the Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE) for her Early Intervention Project. Asbury, along with six other individuals or teams of state employees were recipients of this year’s Governor Awards and recognized for their outstanding service to the Commonwealth during an awards ceremony.

If you work with children and families, here's a training session just for you. "Nurturing Parenting Programs" is a three-day facilitator training course, sponsored by Prevent Child Abuse Virginia, slated for June 18 - 20 in Richmond. "Nurturing Parenting Programs" have a proven track record of preventing the recurrence of child abuse and neglect.
