Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 2/8/2023. At the time of entrance there were approximately 43 participants in care and 13 staff members providing supervision; this far exceeds the required staff:participant ratio. The Licensing Inspector completed a tour of the physical plant that included the building and grounds of the facility. Five participant and three staff records were reviewed. Two participant interview were conducted and medication administration was reviewed. Participants were observed having a morning snack and lunch. Activities observed included current events, Valentine?s Day arts and crafts and music appreciation. Criminal Background Checks of all staff hired since previous inspection were reviewed. Exit interview held. The evidence gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standard(s) or law. The inspection summary will be posted to the VDSS website within five (5) business days of your receipt of the inspection summary.
