Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:45am-11:15am. At the time of inspection, 33 children (two years through five years) were directly supervised by 7 staff ratios were in compliance. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 4 staff records including aides and parent volunteers. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in open centers (water table, painting, and building), and participating in a presentation of Mother Goose Story Telling. The children were interacting positively with staff and volunteers. Restroom and handwashing procedures were also observed as the children were singing and dancing while waiting their turn. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children.
