An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 3:40pm-4:40pm. There were 17 school aged children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, staff training, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing a trivia game with staff about topics they have learned throughout the week. Children were also observed transitioning to the playground or remaining indoors for independent science experiments. Staff and children were engaged in positive and meaningful conversations and instruction throughout the inspection. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. All inspected areas of the program were found to be in compliance today.
