Best practice is to check the batteries in your emergency flashlight monthly during evacuation drills. You are reminded that your second shelter in place drill is required by the end of the school year.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 30 children present with 2 staff when the inspector arrived. Children were observed finishing snack which consisted of milk and cheerios. A nice transition from snack to activities such as coloring, table top games such as Monopoly and beads. Individual activities were observed such as coloring and reading. Staff were observed assisting the children with activities and signing year books. A total of 5 children's records were reviewed and found complete. MAT (medication administration training) training, Daily Health Observation training and first aid/CPR certifications were checked today.
