Reviewed with management changes to the surfacing on the playground, some puddles observed today. Discussed other ways to lock cabinets, use child proof locks instead of calling lock smith to fix locks with keys. Discussed using large tool box with lock to store medications, easier to grab box if need to evacuate.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 8:30 am-1:00. There were a total of 95 children with 21 staff members present. Children were observed arriving to the program, during snack time, engaged in group activities, puzzles, play dough and a reptile show. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice.
