Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on September 20, 2018 from 10:45 a.m. through 12:45 p.m. There were seventeen children in the care of four staff. Five children's records and five staff records were reviewed and updated. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for two children. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Areas observed were: outside play, art, center activity, transition, poem activity and dismissal. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. The children have been completing season activities for the month of September. Please contact me at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
