A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on on Friday, September 28, 2018 from approximately 8:00 am until 10:00 am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The licensing inspector observed 28 children being supervised by 4 staff including the site supervisor. During this inspection, the children in care were observed by the licensing inspector completing a variety of activities to eating breakfast, completing bathroom breaks,engaged in free play with age appropriate toys, participating in circle time and singing the alphabet song, lining up to transitioning into the gym, and playing with balls and interactive with peers in the gymnasium. The licensing inspector also completed observation of parent drop off. The following information was reviewed: emergency supplies, menu, fire, lockdown, and shelter-in-place drill. There were five children?s records and the three staff's emergency contacts and required certificates of completion were reviewed during this inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
