Comments:
Licensing inspector arrived at 8:40 am and departed at 12:00pm to conduct a licensing inspection and a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of arrival was thirty - five children in care with 7 staff . Additional staff arrived during the inspection. The Licensing Inspector observed children arriving , playing with blocks, diapering, bathroom break, and circle time. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 8 staff records. Areas of non-compliance were reviewed with the director.

Violations:
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A
Description: Based on and interview and review of procedures, the vendor did not have emergency preparedness plan with reunification for lockdown. Evidence: During the subsidy inspection conducted on September 27, 2018, the vendor did not have procedures addressing reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child for lock down. The word reuniting or reunification was not used in the plans.

Plan of Correction: Correction was corrected during the inspecction .
