Technical Assistance:
Consultation was provided on the length of time taken to conduct monthly evacuation drills. Staff was reminded to make timely written corrections on menu for all food substitutes.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 10:00AM and ending at 12:30PM with the children's leader. The director arrived during the inspection. There were eleven children with three staff providing supervision. Children's ages ranged from four to five years old. Children were observed being read to and learning about the changes in weather. Children washed their hands before and after snack. Children were served ranch dip, crackers, carrots and water. Children participated in a one hour nature walk. Five children's and five staff files were reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications on site. The health inspection was dated 3/14/2018. The first aid kit, flashlight, and radio were observed and in compliance. There were no injury accidents for the school year. Description: Based on review of record keeping and interview with the director it was determined that the fire inspection report is more than a year old. Evidence: The most recent fire inspection on file is dated 7/21/2017.

Plan of Correction: I will call will be made today to set up a new one.

Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2
Description: Based on observation it was determined that the findings of the most recent inspection was not posted.

Plan of Correction: Copy found and posted during the inspection.
