An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted with the center director and center staff on October 15, 2018. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date (see that report for details). There are currently 15 staff employed by the facility. All staff have documentation of the mandatory VA Pre-service Training and most are currently certified in first aid and CPR. A training is scheduled for November 3, 2018. There are no children with diagnosed food allergies currently enrolled. Reminder: evacuation drills are required monthly, shelter in place drills are required twice a year, and one lock down drill is required each year. Lock down drills are to isolate children and staff from a security threat; shelter in place is to protect children from a natural or manmade threat. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at email@example.com. If you have specific questions regarding the subsidy program, visit our website at http://www.dss.virginia.gov/family/cc/assistance_providers.cgi

An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K. Eligible child care facilities must be fully licensed, licensed exempt and a VDSS subsidy vendor, or a voluntary registered day home and a VDSS subsidy vendor.
