An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 11:00 and ending at 1:20. There were 61 children present with 9 staff. Children were observed having lunch. Two classrooms had teachers reading stories, one during lunch and one right after. Infants were observed settling down for nap. Classrooms all had a wide display of children's age appropriate activities posted in the classroom and in the hallways. Reviewed 8 children's files - complete Reviewed 4 staff files - complete Reviewed accident reports for September - complete Last Emergency escape drill was 9/28/18; Last Shelter in Place drill was 6/11/18. Health and Fire Inspections are up to date.' Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-F Description: Based on a review of the meal served dring the inspection and a review of the menu, it was determined that not all meals meet USDA requirements. Evidence: Lunch on this date consisted of ham, corn, apples and milk. There was no bread component served. Plan of Correction: The Director stated that the bread was supposed to be served but was forgotten.
