At the time of the tour, there were 77 children in care with 11 staff present. 8 children's records and 8 staff records were reviewed. Children were observed participating in morning learning activities, playing on the playground and eating lunch. Hand washing and toileting procedures were also observed. Medication, first aid and emergency supplies, the emergency preparedness plan, documentation of emergency practice drills and center postings were reviewed. Two violations in the areas of administration and background checks are identified on the violation notice and were discussed with administrative staff during the exit interview.
