A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/23/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 9:30am and ended at 2:00pm. There were 8 staff with 38 children in 2 classrooms at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed playing outside, having a parade, eating lunch and taking naps. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were no medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-B Description: Based on record review and interview, one staff member has not completed the Virginia Preservice Training. Evidence: Staff #2's file does not contain documentation of the Preservice training. Staff #2 has stated that she has not completed completed the training. Plan of Correction: We will make sure this staff member completes the training.
