Discussed with site supervisor about soon to expire medication and ensuring proper boxes are checked on pre measured medication dosages.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:45am-11:45am. There were 46 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff training records, 5 children?s records, 5 medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, building cardboard forts, playing on personal electronic devices, and making crafts. Some children were also observed finishing up a snack of apple muffins and water. and eating snack. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. Interactions were observed to be positive and constructive in nature. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
