Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 7:15am-9:00am. There were 36 children (5-12yrs.) supervised by 5 direct care staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed coloring, playing card games, board games, and computer games, and engaging in other free choice activities. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Description: Based on observation, all hazardous substances were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: The second SACC classroom (Room 192) had an unlocked closet that contained a bottle of chemical cleaning wipes.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during the time of inspection.
