Technical Assistance:
? New subsidy requirements became effective on October 17, 2018. The facility has not yet complied with the following requirements: 540/ 190: TB screening before coming into contact with children and within 30 calendar days of the date of employment. 770/ 400: Procedure for continuity of operations during an emergency include in EPP.

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted this date to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 138 children were in care with 28 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, circle time, sensory tables, painting, mitten story activities, diapering and hand washing. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
