Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 12/5/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Reviewed and observed care of children, emergency preparation, records, medication and physical plant. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. In addition, new Subsidy requirements that will be enforced starting December 14, 2018 were reviewed. The program will need to add continuity of care to the emergency plan, address group size if applicable and train staff on allergy awareness for children in care. . If you have any questions regarding the inspection, please feel free to contact me. Thank you Ann Dramstad Licensing Inspector 703-314-0860 ann.dramstad@dss.virginia.gov
