Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, December 12, 2018 to determine the center's compliance with Licensing standards. Staff Records were reviewed at the administrative office located at the Central Montessori School. While at the Central Montessori School, children from the Adolescent program were in attendance to practice for the upcoming winter celebration performance for parents. Twenty-four children and three staff were observed. Children will be singing and sharing cookies with parents. Children will also be delivering cookies to the local fire department. Later a walk through of the Adolescent school building was conducted. All areas of the facility were inspected. The facility has age appropriate materials and supplies. Children provide their own meals and snacks. The first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. The following required information was posted: emergency number, the license, last inspection notice, evacuation map/procedures, and daily schedules. Three staff records were reviewed along with five children's records. Currently no medication is being administered. Staff have current CPR, First aid, daily health observation training and MAT certification. If you questions regarding this inspection please contact the licensing inspector at 804-662-9758.
