**A fire drill has not been recorded for 12/2018, one must be completed prior to the end of December to maintain compliance.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 8:50am-9:50am. There were 38 children present in the Winter SACC program directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff training records, 5 children?s records, 1 medication, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing on tablets, reading books, and eating a snack of apple cinnamon muffins, fresh oranges, and water. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Staff and children interactions were observed to be positive and constructive in nature. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review, 2 of 5 children's records reviewed were incomplete. Evidence: 1. Child 4's record contained 1 of 2 required emergency contacts. The first contacts was listed as the child's custodial mother. 2. Child 5's record did not contain an address for 1 of the 2 required emergency contacts. Plan of Correction: We will inform the parents of the missing information and ask that they provide updated information.
