Description: Based on observations and interview, ratios in a classroom were not maintained [one staff/8 children]. Evidence: Upon inspector arrival, 24 children were observed in the care of 2 staff in a classroom where the youngest child is 2 years old [Child #1]. A volunteer was present but was not being counted in ratios at the time of the inspection. A third staff member was present within approximately one hour of the inspection.

Plan of Correction: We are working to ensure our volunteers meet the requirements to be counted in ratios.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal.
