Technical Assistance:
Discussion of the subsidy regulations and how they apply to the Child Day Center (CDC). The new regulations that went into effect on October 17, 2018 were also reviewed and discussed. The center currently follows the procedure for ensuring both consistency of classroom staff; and that essentials are provided during emergencies. The center will note on there Emergency Preparedness Plan that they store water and food in a travel chest to take with them during drills.

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted at the Loudoun Valley Community Center located in the town of Purcellville, Virginia. This inspection was conducted on 03/01/2019, between the hours of 9 am through 12 pm (noon) to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An Unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
