Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 03/11/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Present during the inspection were 30 children, ages 5 years-12 years, in the direct care and supervision of 4 staff. There was an additional support staff member present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and 4 staff records during the inspection. The staff stated that there was no medication on-site. The children were observed in the following activities: returning from a walk, participating in large motor play in the gym, during lunch and swimming. The inspector reviewed the emergency plans and the emergency supplies during the inspection. The inspector discussed children's allergies with the staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety were found and are noted on the Violation Notice. The inspector arrived for the on-site inspection at 9:45 a.m. and departed at 1:15 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Forestier at 540-309-2835.
