Technical Assistance:
Discussed medication authorizations signed by parents.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 33 children with 6 staff present this date. Walk thru of all 3 classrooms conducted. The children were preparing for nap time, finishing their lunches and some children in the Pathfinders were sleeping. Staff strategically placed in the classrooms to ensure adequate supervision. Artwork on display in the classrooms and ample supplies and equipment. A review of 6 children's records and 4 staff records was completed. All records found complete. Two medications on site today which were reviewed. Previous violations from the last inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. This inspection began at 12:10pm and ended at 2pm. Description: Based on review of the medications on site, the center did not follow their medication procedures. Evidence: One medication found on site with an authorization that expired on 3/1/19. This medication was administered three times without obtaining a new authorization.

Plan of Correction: We will have either the parent or physician sign a new authorization.
