Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 04/18/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 3:30pm-5:10pm. There were 67 children directly supervised by 9 staff. A sample of 6 children?s records, 9 staff records and 1 medication were reviewed. The children were observed playing on the playground, playing on electronics, building structures, playing board games and being dismissed. One new staff has been hired since the last inspection. There were no violations cited during this inspection. The exit interview was conducted with the director. If you have any questions, contact Kimberly.Sawyer@dss.virginia.gov. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
