Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-410-1
Description: Based on staff statements and observation, behavioral guidance was not constructive in nature, age and stage appropriate and intended to redirect children to appropriate behaviors. Evidence: A staff member bought a concern to staff #2 after observing an incident in the classroom. Based on the report , staff #2 viewed the classroom video from that day and time as the center has a closed monitoring video system. Staff #2 then called the Licensing 'inspector to report the incident. During the allegation inspection, the Licensing Inspector observed Staff #3 swatting a cracker out of a child #1's hand and then hitting the other hand. The same staff member (#3) was seen roughly handling two other children in the same time period by pulling child #2 onto the rug and forcing child #3 into a chair.

Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
