A Subsidy Health and safety inspection was conducted on 05/02/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspection began at 9:40 a.m. and ended at 1:10 p.m. There were 42 infant and children in care with staff supervising and maintaining ratios at all times. The director/licensee was also present. Infants were observed being fed at the table, being fed a bottle, playing, and napping. The children were observed washing hands for lunch, eating lunch, playing outside and inside, and during rest time. No medications are being administered at this time. Five staff records and five children?s records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSSI inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
